About Me!
Growing up in Pickens County, I developed an interest in Agriculture at a young age. During my years in high school, I became actively involved in the Pickens County FFA Chapter. Through the direction of my Ag. Teacher, Mr. Terry Queen, I participated in a wide variety of FFA Activities and eventually, had the opportunity to serve as a State FFA Officer. The selection of my career as an Agriculture Education Teacher was a natural step following my high school involvement in the program. Eventually, my two children became actively involved in Agriculture Education and the FFA and went own to receive both State and National Awards of their own. I, along with my children, have experienced first-hand, the great assortment of opportunities available through Agriculture Education and FFA. My role in Agriculture Education is to open the door to these opportunities for my students.
